Nouvelle collection des éditions The Drawer, The Photographer met à l’honneur la photographie contemporaine
et les artistes qui la font. Publication semestrielle comme sa grande sœur dédiée au dessin, elle laisse
la parole et le champ libre à une trentaine d’artistes à travers une thématique fédératrice.
Le parti pris de The Photographer : réunir photographes et artistes pluridisciplinaires repoussant
les limites du médium. La photographie se raconte sous toutes ses formes et expressions.
Cette collection a été imaginée et conçue par :
Julie Watier, ancienne directrice photo de Beaux Arts Magazine
et directrice de la communication de Paris Photo,
Sophie Toulouse et Barbara Soyer, cofondatrices des éditions The Drawer.
A new collection from The Drawer editions, THE PHOTOGRAPHER celebrates contemporary
photography and the artists who make it. A biannual publication that gives free rein to thirty artists
through a unifying theme. THE PHOTOGRAPHER's aim is to bring together photographers and
multidisciplinary artists, pushing back the boundaries of the medium. This collection was conceived
and designed by : Julie Watier, former photo director of Beaux Arts Magazine and communications
director of Paris Photo, Sophie Toulouse and Barbara Soyer, co-founders of The Drawer editions.

A classic theme in photography, family is a fertile ground for experimentation
and interrogation. How is it represented today? How are contemporary
